Venice Residents Won’t Get Permit Parking Districts to Remove RVs From the Streets

The California Coastal Commission rejected the request of Venice homeowners to create permit parking districts in five different areas, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The streets in the contested areas are full of RVs and converted vans, both of which Venice homeowners have fought for years. The parking permits would force RV and converted van owners to find another place to park. Some homeowners say the RVs bring crime to the neighborhood — for more on this story, check out the Los Angeles Times article here.
